Project Run and Play Happy Holidays Blog Tour

I am so excited to be on the Project Run and Play Happy Holidays Blog Tour!

Project Happy Holidays inspiration board

I started working on pattern tests for this collection in early October so this whole collaboration has been a long time in the making and a whole lot of work! These collections are always my favorite. I love to see a group of designers working together and this ends up being a true collaboration- from the planning process to the blog tour. It's pretty amazing to watch it all come together. Since I started working for PR&P this fall, I got a backstage pass on this release so it feels extra special to me.

If you want to see more of these patterns, the Look Book is a great place to start! I ended up testing all but 3 of the patterns. I can't wait to find time to sew up the others but in the meantime, I'll share the ones I did make.

The Cedar Coat and Cardigan Pattern is so cozy! I made both girls the cardigan view and they wear these all the time. The faux fur makes it extra cuddly. This pattern has an awesome size range and some really great options! My little one is wearing the high-low version and my teen is wearing the shorter length.

The Yawn Sleep Tee is this great oversized sleep shirt pattern that has a kangaroo pocket! It's super fun. Both girls also got one of these. The younger one actually cried when she realized that not all of her pjs have pockets like the Yawn!

We really love the Noel Top & Dress Pattern and Evergreen Skirt. I made both in a double gauze so they are light and perfect for twirling! Both of these patterns could easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion for which you are sewing.

The Hols Shirt and Fete Slacks Pattern are made for each other but so perfect to mix and match with the other pieces in the collection. I love the details in these patterns! The ruffle on the shirt is so cute or leave it off for a more basic button down. The tuxedo stripe on the Fete Slacks makes them so cool! What a fun way to add an accent color.

I feel so lucky to have been a small part in this collection and look forward to working on many more! This is the last week of the blog tour so make sure to come back to Project Run and Play tomorrow for more inspiration!
